Get ready for the biggest Pokémon TCG event in Latin America! In November, the Latin America International Championship reaches Brazil.

The event will include TCG and GO tournaments (categories to be confirmed).

All registered underage competitors will receive a spectator pass, at no additional cost, for a parent or guardian. This spectator pass does not include any extra items.

ATTENTION!
This year, to enter the event, it is necessary to purchase a spectator pass, which will be available for pre-purchase. The pass entitles you to one Pokémon Trading Card Game booster packs and access to all days of the event.
**Children under the age of 6 are not required to purchase a spectator pass.
Spectator passes may be withdrawn throughout the entire event.
Comments:
The registration is unique and non-transferable;
Participation gifts can only be picked up on the day of the event through the participant’s attendance. If you purchase the registration and do not participate in the tournament, you will not be able to receive the item later.
All non-COVID-19 refund requests must be received by 23:59 UTC-3 on November 23, 2022.
After November 23, only COVID-19-related refund requests will be honored. If you tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days prior to the tournament and are unable to enter the venue, please send an e-mail to torneios@copag.com.br alongside with the medical report to obtain a refund.
Refunds will be issued as of November 28.
All players, companions, visitors, staff and service providers must comply with all requirements in the COVID-19 Protocol developed by Pokémon.

For this event, we will have partners selling Pokémon products!
Our partners will have a stand set up from 11/25 to 11/27, throughout the duration of the tournament.
Due to the presence of partners in the event, it is strictly prohibited for players to sell single cards and sealed products. Failure to comply may result in the offender being removed from the premises, in addition to sanctions within the Play! Pokémon program. If the offender is responsible for or is under the responsibility of a player registered in the tournament, this player can also be punished.
PERSONAL ITEMS POLICY
For your safety and of all attendees of this event, we ask that you be aware of the items that will not be allowed at the event:
- Items that are considered as “weapons”, such as: guns, sharp objects, toy weapons and sprays;
- Electronic cigarettes;
- Alcoholic beverages or any illegal substance;
- Clothing, objects or signs with explicit words or images;
- Animals (except service animals).
The event will be played in three different age divisions – Junior, Senior and Master – in the Swiss format, with a subsequent cut to the TOP, according to the Pokémon Organized Play guidelines. The number of Swiss rounds and the number of players competing for the TOP are determined by the table below:
Swiss rounds will be played in a best-of-three system, with a time limit of 50 minutes + 3 additional turns.
Players with 19 or more points, or the top 32 players – whichever is higher – are eligible to play Swiss rounds on day two.
The Single Elimination stage will be played in a best of three, with a time limit of 75 minutes + 3 additional turns.
For the 2022-2023 season, the officially valid Standard Format cards are:
- Cards with the regulation mark D or higher; or all cards from the Sword and Shield series collections and their promotional cards.

The tournament will only be played in the Master age division.
The tournament format will be best of 3 matches, Double Elimination (players who lose two matches will be eliminated from the tournament), as per the Pokémon Organized Play guidelines. The tournament will be played in the Great League.
Tournaments with 33 or more players will have two stages. First, registered players will be divided into groups. The top 2 players from each group will advance to the Finals to determine the winner of the tournament.
The number of pools to be played is determined by the table below:
On November 24, players from all divisions (TCG and GO) will be required to check-in to the event. Check-in is a procedure where players present proof of payment, player ID, authorization for minors and GDPR term (if applicable to the player), authorization to use their image and an official identification document to guarantee their participation in the tournament and to pick up the registration kit.

If you register for the tournament, but are unable to attend the Thursday check-in, you must contact this email: torneios@copag.com.br by Tuesday, November 23, and include in the title “Late Check-in in Latin America International”. The message must contain: Player ID; Name; Date of birth.

All players under 18 years of age must provide the “Term of Consent for Participants under the age of 18” duly filled in upon check-in;
Players under 14 years of age must be accompanied by at least one legal guardian throughout the event;
Players over 14 years of age must be accompanied by at least one legal guardian or representative (whose age is over 18 years) appointed by them, carrying the same document “Term of Consent for Participants under the age of 18” duly completed, and this person must remain at the premises throughout the event;
Players who are not with their legal companions during the tournament will be removed from it.
All players under 18 years of age must also provide the signed term referring to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Prizes will be awarded to the top players in each of the three categories. To be eligible for prizes, players must have an active account on the Pokémon website, with a player ID attached to it, and must have opted to participate in and receive awards from the Play! Pokémon program.
The prize values announced by the Pokémon Company also apply to tournaments held in Brazil, where they will be converted and paid in local currency (Real-BRL), with deduction of taxes, according to the Brazilian legislation. The quotation used for conversion will be that from November 25.
The prize will correspond to an amount in BRL equivalent to the table above – in the three age divisions.

Brazilians:
Cash payments will be made available on the MOBOX digital wallet. The necessary data will be collected through a form that will be made available on the day of the tournament or after the tournament in the link that will be made available here on the website. After filling out the form, the winning player should just wait for the Strategy Box or Copag company to contact them with the instructions to access the amounts in the digital wallet. When the values are available in the account the player will be notified via E-mail and SMS.
Underage players will receive the amounts in a digital account in the name of a guardian over 18 years of age who must be informed in the award form.
Payments can take up to 3 months to be completed.
